Senate Committee on Academic Planning
ANNUAL REPORT -
1998
The Senate Committee on Academic Planning held 11 meetings in 1998. Most
recommendations of SCAP go forward to Senate for action or information. This
report, therefore, presents a summary of the major actions of the Committee
during the year.

During the 1998/99 curriculum revision cycle, the following course change

ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT (SCEMP)
SCEMP recommended:
undergraduate admission targets for 1998/99
admission to Faculties for 98-3 and subsequent semesters
undergraduate admission targets to each Faculty
allocation of additional fully funded FTEs in 1998/99
revised undergraduate intake targets for 99-1.
OTHER MATTERS CONSIDERED BY SCAP
AU designation on transcript for courses audited by undergraduate and
graduate students.
SGSC - change of membership to add Assoc. Dean of Graduate Studies as
ex-officio voting member.

SCAP received reports and provided initial comments on the following

Following initial SCAP consideration and comment, departments will
review the reports and recommendations, make adjustments to their
three-year plans and then the revised plan will come forward for
