Latin American Studies Program
Acting under delegated authority, the SGSC approved curriculum
revisions as follows:
i)
Change of preamble for the Latin American Studies Program
because of the merger of the LAS Program and the Department
of Sociology and Anthropology
ii)
Change in admission requirements in that admissions will be
conducted on a biennial basis beginning in the 1999 Fall
Semester
iii) Change to the LAS MA course requirements because of the
proposed biennial entry system and that LAS 800 is a required
course for completion of the program
iv) Course title change: LAS 815 and 800
v)

A Joint SFUIUBC Program in Law and Forensic Psychology

A specialty stream in Child Clinical Psychology

A reorganization of the general graduate programs to reflect the
areas of specialization that have been agreed upon by the
Department

descriptions of all graduate programs in the Department of
