Changes to Joint Major Programs
Joint Major in Business Administration and Political Science
The Committee approved the
deletion of the Joint Major.
Rationale:
The Business Administration part of this joint major includes a
concentration in Policy. In that Business Administration is no longer going to
offer a concentration in Policy, it was necessary to consider either deletion of
the joint major or the selection of new courses to replace the Policy courses.
Both Business Administration and Political Science searched to see how many
students were taking the joint major. Business Administration has one student
who is within two semesters of graduating. Political Science has one student.
In light of the fact that students are not very interested in this joint major, both
Business Administration and Political Science agreed to delete the Joint
Major.
