At its March 1997 meeting, Senate approved a motion from the Senate
Committee on Academic Planning to extend the 10% limit on admission of
international students to the
Faculty of
Business
at
SFTJ (including Majors,
Honors, Joint Majors, and Minors) for a period of three academic years
(1997/98 to 1999/00). The attached table shows the actual number of
international students who were admitted in each semester throughout this
period.
The Senate Committee on Enrollment Management and Planning met

on February 2, 2000 and agreed that the 10

limit should be extended for
another three years.
"That SCAP approve and recommend approval to Senate and to the Board
to limit the number of international students, excluding exchange
students, who are admitted into undergraduate programs in the Faculty of
Business at SF1.1 to 10% of all admissions in the academic years 2000/01,
2001/02, and 2002/03."
