This is a combined report from the University Board on Student Discipline (UBSD) and the
Senate Committee on Disciplinary Appeals (SCODA) covering the period September 1, 2000 to
August 31, 2001. A summary of the cases heard by UBSD and SCODA is attached for the
information of Senate.

The University Board on Student Discipline dealt with four cases involving allegations of
academic dishonesty in the period covered by the report..
One further case was submitted to the Board but was referred back to the Department.

This report covers the period September 1, 2000 - August 31, 2001. During that period,
the Senate Committee on Disciplinary Appeals dealt with one appeal. The case was
appealed on the basis of University Policy T10.04, section 4.1b), "that the penalty
imposed was inappropriate".
