1. Deletion of the joint MRM/MBA degree
Rationale
.'dmissions to this program were suspended in 1999. The School of Resource and Environmental Management and the Faculty of Business
-dministration have now both a2reed that this program should be deleted from the calendar. There has been very little demand for the joint
uegree (3 students since 1993), and because of changes to the curriculum in Business Administration (the suspension of 500 level courses)
students are no longer eligible to enter the joint degree program from MB.M. It could take up to 4 years to complete the degree because
there are up to 17 required courses and a thesis. A student could complete an MRM and an MBA in the time it takes to complete the
combined degree.
