Senate Vacancy

Part 7, Section 36(6) of the University Act states that "The secretary of the senate must

enter a declaration of the vacancy in the minutes of senate."

This is to advise that Alison Gill will be absent from Senate until August 2003 and a by-

election to seek a replacement for the period of her leave will be required.
