At the SCAR meeting on 19 November, 2002, SCAR supported the following revisions to

SCUP and SCEMP membership, and forwards these recommendations to Senate for

approval:

That Senate approves the revision of tbership/selection of the Senate

Committee on University Priorities jting to the positions of Faculty Senator, so that

in the event that a Faculty SenatorA's unable to attend a meeting of SCUP, the Faculty

Dean is authorized to appoint a replacement.

Rationale:

?

This recommendation arises out of experience with the SCUP

membership and is unanimously supported by SCUP.

Motion 2

That Senate approves the revision of the membership of the Senate Committee on

Enrollment Management and Planning to include the Associate Vice-President,

Academic as a non-voting member.

Rationale:

?

The Associate Vice-President, Academic's position includes the co-

ordination of academic planning, and membership on this committee is appropriate.
