Acting under delegated authority, at the May 14, 2002 meeting, SCUS approved the

following curriculum revisions in the Faculty of Science:

i. Department of Statistics & Actuarial Science

a)

Deletion of STAT 420

b) Addition of ACMA 490 to list of required courses for the Certificate in

Actuarial Science

c) New Course: STAT 400-3 - Data Analysis

d) Addition of gpa requirement of 2.0 for the 9 required Upper Division

courses in the Certificate in Actuarial Mathematics

2. Department of Molecular Biology & Biochemistry

a) New course proposal - MBB 440-3 - Selected Topics in Contemporary

Molecular Biology
