Acting under delegated authority, the Senate Graduate Studies Committee, at its Meeting on

February 11, 2002, approved the following Graduate Curriculum Revisions in the School

Of Communication:

1.

Addition of new text to address the section on 'Master's Degree Requirements'.

2.

Re-titling current "Degree" requirements to "Course" requirements.

3.

Reducing the number of course hours required for a Master's degree from 27 to

to 20 credit hours.

4.

Revised text and proposed minor changes on admission procedures to provide

clarification.
