Senate Vacancies

For Information

Part 7, Section 36(6) of the University Act states that "The secretary of the senate must

enter a declaration of the vacancy in the minutes of the senate."

This is to advise that the following vacancies on Senate have occurred, and by-elections

to seek replacements for balance terms of office will be issued in September.

Student Vacancy

One student (who must be from the Faculty of Business Administration) to fill an

existing vacancy to May 31, 2004.

Facult y

Vacancies

One Faculty member (elected by and from the Faculty of Science) to replace Cohn Jones

for term of office from January 1, 2004 to May 31, 2005.

One Faculty member (elected by and from the Faculty of Arts) to replace Carole Gerson

for term of office from date of election to May 31, 2005.

One Faculty member (elected by and from faculty members jointly) to replace Wendy

Chan for term of office from date of election to May 31, 2006.
