Committee on University Priorities
At its December 4, 2002 meeting the Senate Committee on University Priorities (SCUP)
unanimously passed a motion in relation to the provision of student alternates for the
Student Senators on the Committee.
SCUP agreed that in the event that both of the two Student Senators were unavoidably
absent from a regularly scheduled meeting of the Committee, one elected student
alternate could attend the meeting in their absence. In advance of their absence, the
Student Senators are asked to arrange for the student alternate and to notify Laurie
Summers, Secretary to SCUP. Upon receipt of notification, the Secretary to SCUP will
ensure that the student alternate is provided with an agenda and materials for the
meeting.
SCUP requests that this information be forwarded to Senate for approval.
