Rationale:
Biology 11 has been deleted because it is not a prerequisite for Biology 12. Biology 12,
"Human Biology" is the course that is relevant and important for prospective Kinesiology majors. This now
makes the Grade 11 admission requirements for the School of Kinesiology identical to the Grade 11
admission requirements for the Faculty of Science and the School of Engineering Science as described on
page 41 in the current Calendar.
As this change benefits some applicants without detracting from the admissibility of any applicant, it
should become effective immediately (i.e., for 2004-3 applicants). No phase-in provision is required.
