40th Anniversary Open House - Saturday June 3, 2006

As you all know, the University is celebrating its

40th

Anniversary and holding an Open House on

Saturday 3 June, 2006. The day will be scheduled in two parts:

Part 1(9:30-11:00 a.m.) will be an Information session for newly-admitted Grade 12

students

Part

2

(11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) will be an Open House for the General Public

I am proposing to have an information table on governance issues that cover both the Board of

• ?

Governors and Senate.

I would appreciate help at this table throughout the day. Please plan on attending the Open

House, and helping out for an hour or so at the information table. I think you will find it

interesting and informative.

I am also planning to put together a quiz that visitors can complete and submit. A suitable prize

will be awarded at the end of the Open House. I am working on some governance questions. If

anyone would like to help me with these, I would welcome your input.

Please mark 3 June on your calendar and come and be part of this celebration!

Please let me know if you can help at the Governance Information Table (give me times, and I

will prepare a balanced schedule). I may not be able to accommodate everyone!!!
