At its 8th January 2007 meeting, Senate Graduate
Studies Committee approved the following curriculum
and calendar changes in the Faculty of Arts & Social
Sciences:
Philosophy (GS2007.03)
Program description changes for the calendar -
application procedures, degree requirements for the
M.A. and Ph.D. programs - these were noted as
housekeeping items.
English - M.A. program (GS2007.04)
Master of Arts for Teachers of English (MATE)
A new stream to the M.A. program for Surrey campus -
designed as a refresher course for school teachers to
teach English literature with current critical
approach. Calendar changes to the program
description, admission requirements and some
housekeeping items were included.
Economics - minor course changes (GS2007.05)
