The following Senate committees currently have vacancies. Elections, if required, will be
conducted by ballot at the Senate meeting ofJanuary 7, 2008. Under Senate regulations, any
Senator who wishes to submit nominations may do so by notifying the Secretary of Senate in

Senate Committee on International Activities (SCM)
One Undergraduate Student Senator to
replace Haniza Malik for term of office to May 31,
2009.

International Student Exchange Committee (ISEC)
At the December 3, 2007 Senate meeting, a chaiige in membership was approved to include one
faculty member from each faculty. The following faculty members are current members of ISEC:
John Bechhoefer (Science - May 31, 2008); Michael Favere-Marchesi (Business Administration -
May 31, 2009); and Iris Geva-May (Education - May 31, 2008). Therefore, three faculty
members
are
required (one from Applied Sciences, one from Arts
and Social
Sciences, and one from Health Sciences). In order to
stagger the terms of office, one faculty
member will
serve
to May 31, 2008; the other
two will serve
to May 31, 2009.
