    Web-based calendar - For Information Only
    At its meeting of 30 September, 2009 the Calendar committee reviewed and approved the
    proposal to move the official SFU Calendar from a printed publication to a web-based version.
    The Registrar's office is responsible for producing the Calendar. The rationale for this change

    ?
    includes:
    - fiscal responsibility
    - environmental sustainability
    integration with the new curriculum management system
    For these reasons, the 2010-2011 Calendar will be solely available on-line. In 2011 the Calendar
    will be published on-line to coincide with each term.
    This information was communicated to the community in July 2009 through notification in every
    print calendar and on-line, and workshops have been held for advisors and administrators from
    each department.
