Objectives: It is intended that students will:

curriculum theory which serve to guide practical curriculum
development.

be able to develop curricula for classroom use in chosen
areas of interest.
Outline of Topics;
The course will focus on: the concepts of education and schooling; the
educational needs of the learner; curriculum -- the basic ingredients --
aims, objectives, content, teaching methods, evaluation; alternative models
for planning; curriculum development; developing curricula for the
individual classroom; problems of practice.
