DESIGNS FOR LEARNING: PHYSICAL EDUCATION

This course is designed for practicing teachers in the intermediate
grades, (4-7). The theoretical focus of this course will be to provide students
with an understanding of curriculum development and teaching strategies.
The practical work will complement this and increase the students' knowledge
and understanding of Laban's principles of movement as well as observational
ski 1 ls.
Ass i gnmen ts:
1.
A weekly curriculum assignment to be worked out for the student's
own class.
2. A mid-term.
3.
Two two-minute movement sequences.
14. Final exam.
