• To examine ideas and issues in art education
• To build a portfolio through hands-on art making

COURSE CONTENT:
Goals of art education; responses to art; contemporary issues, including
multiculturalism, integration, visual literacy, art and the environment; hands-on
experiences with a variety of media and techniques; advocacy; art history; evaluation.
