Designs for Learning: Mathematics

This course will focus an an analysis of the mathematics

curriculum in grade.

K-i and an application of psychological prin-

ciples to create learning situations for mathematics. Attention

will be given to the design of instruction for learning whole

numbers

and operations, rational numbers and operation., measurement

and

geometry topics

in the

elementary

school.

Requinents: Two assignments (to be done in tutorial sessions with

children)
