    The emphasis in this course will be on discovering the
    role of art in its many forms, and the roles of those
    who teach it.
    Areas to be examined: misconceptions regarding art and
    creativity, evaluation of art work, effective art teaching,
    the importance of self-expression, technique vs. allowing.
    The course format will óonsist of lectures, group discussion,
    and drawing. Students are expected to actively contribute to
    the exploration of the various issues.
    My method "DELIDHT IN DRAWING" is especially designed for
    those who think they can't draw, and will be used in the
    drawing classes.

    In this course we will explore together different issues
    related to art and the artistic experience. The forns will be on
    creativity in general and on an understanding of the creation of art
    as a process.
    Students will be expected to actively participate in the

    class process. During the last 2 hours of each class
    students will be exposes to my method of drawing
    'DELIGHT IN DRAWING' which has been especially designed
    for people who think they can't draw.
    Although drawing will be the main art activity time will
    be provided to explore 2 or 3 craft areas using a
    demonstration format.
    Attendance is greatly encouraged as I think that the
    lectures and class discussions
    are crucial for benefiting
    from this course.
