This is a 4 credit course comprising 48 hours of instruction, held on

Mondays and Wednesday evenings, 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. beginning May 7, 1990

at the S.F.U. Tele-Learning Centre, behind Okanagan College, 1000

K.L.O. Road, Kelowna, B.C.

The course is designed for teachers who wish to examine the principles

underlying the Language Arts curriculum and to develop means of

selecting and developing materials and strategies to meet curriculum

goals. It will focus on the theory and practice of language arts education

with an emphasis on instructional strategies.
