    OBJECTIVES
    This course is an introduction to teaching art to grades K - 12.. The
    course will begin by exploring the nature of art and the place and purpose
    of art within the school curriculum. Through seminars

    discussions and
    art activities, participants will develop their own personal skills in
    order that they may help to foster creativity and growth in school age
    children..
    "Through visual experience, we will enrich our lives as well as the lives
    of our students.. We will open eyes, and fill them with the will to see,"
    No prior experience with art is required for the course..
