To increase the skills and knowledge of teachers regarding
the construction, evaluation and selection, educational
measurement and assessment devices.
The main topics to be covered in the course includes
Overview of measurement and evaluation in teaching
- Basic principles of measurement theory
- Measurement devices for classroom use (standardized
and classroom tests, scales/questionnaires, systematic
observation)
- Selection and development of measurement devices
