ANNOUNCEMENT
Simon Fraser University will be offering the following course in Kamloops
during the 1984 Fall Semester (September - December):
EDUCATION 361-4 CONTEMPORARY ISSUES AND NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN EDUCATIONAL
PRACTICE
Description:
This course will be jointly planned with the. Kamloops School District to deal
with the concerns of classroom teachers in the elementary schools of today.
The course will address a variety of topical issues including Special
Education for the classroom teacher. Presenters will include Simon Fraser
University resource persons and exemplary educators from within the Kamloops
School District.
Note: For those interested, a follow-up course in the Spring 1985 semester
will allow students to implement concepts. from Education 361 in their
own classrooms or schools.

be available at the SFU Site Office after August 21, 1984.

FOR THOSE STUDENTS WHO ARE UNABLE TO PRE-REGISTER, AN IN-PERSON REGISTRATION WILL
BE HELD AT THE SITE OFFICE THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASS.
- CONTINUING students (students who have completed SFU courses within the last
three semesters).
- NEW STUDENTS (and FORMER STUDENTS requiring Re-Admission), must complete an
Application form and Registration form, providing all official transcripts.
Students who have not been admitted to the University may be considered if
they bring their official academic records to the in-person registration. The
Admissions Office will make a final decision once the documents are received
on campus. Students seeking admission to the University will be assessed an
evaluation fee of $25.00 (separate cheque payable to Simon Fraser University)
for non-B.C. documents.
