Senate received a written response to the question raised in the Senate meeting on January 10,
2011 regarding breadth requirements.

Report of the Chair
The chair highlighted a number of events occurring throughout the week at the university: the
SFU Awards dinner, enVISION launch, Alumni awards, and the President’s Honour Roll
reception. All Senators were invited to join the enVISION launch event at Harbour Centre and
encouraged to participate in the process by providing input through hallway chats, meetings,
social media and the web.
