Jo Hincbliffe, Assistant Registrar has provided the following information:

With the two week "Olympic break" in classes in the Spring semester 2010, it

will not be possible to keep to our usual schedule. Exams will end on April 28.

I don't believe that the departments or Student Services will be able to complete

all the necessary processes and have

all

the grad evaluations done in time for a

May 17 Senate meeting.

I would like to propose that the Senate meeting be moved to Tuesday, May 25

(Monday May 24 is Victoria Day, a statutory holiday). If this is approved, then

the Convocation dates must also be moved one week later to June 15-18.

Motion

That the May 2010 meeting of Senate be scheduled for Tuesday May

25.
