The following curriculum changes are proposed for the
Management and Systems science Program:
The following courses will be dropped from the curriculum—
BUS.
BUS. 270-3 Introduction to Organizational Behaviour
and Decision Making
BUS 374-3 Macro Perspectives on Organizations
The following courses will be added to the curriculum—
BUS.
BUS. 473-5 Operations Management
In addition, the Program would like to add an entrance/
maintenance requirement:
For entrance into the Management and Systems Science
Program and maintenance of their status in the
Program, students will require a cumulative grade
point average of 2.5.

Rationale - drop BUS 270-3
The Department of Business Administration has dropped
BUS. 270-3 as a requirement for their majors.
Therefore, the MSSC Program agrees that this course
should also be dropped as an MSSC requirement.
Rationale - drop BUS. 374-3
When Business Administration changed their curriculum
about a year ago, they dropped 2 courses which were
required by MSSC (BUS 371- 3 Organizational Theory and
BUS. 373-5 Operations Management). The MSSC Program
filled this gap by changing these requirements to

372-3 Micro Perspectives on Organizations and

3 Macro perspectives on Organizations. However, it is
now apparent that
