Acting under delegated authority at its meeting of February

2009, SCUS
approved the following calendar revisions:
Calendar entry for Canadian Studies' notice to students regarding admission to
the program.
Notice to Students:
Students will no longer be admitted to the Canadian Studies Major,
Minor, Honors or Joint Major programs effective for the Fall 2009 term.
Also, Canadian Studies courses will not be offered after the Summer
2009 term. Students contemplating entering one of these programs are
advised to check with the advisor regarding the status of the program in
which they are interested. Contact Ms L. Kool 778-782-3588.

(i) Change in title and requirements for the Certificate in Spanish language
proficiency.

(i) Changes to the Mathematics Major and Honors programs in the Faculty of
Arts and Social Sciences.
3.
Department of Psychology (SCUS 09-19)
(i) Prerequisite changes to PSYC 102, 201, 207, 221, 241, 250, 260, 268, 270
and 280.
4.
WOB Course Designations (SCUS 09-20)
(i) The writing designations for FPA 238, 338 and WL 101, B-Soc designations
for CRIM 103 and 104, B-Hum designations for WL 102, 201 and 203.
