The Curriculum Committee of the Gerontology Diploma Program has approved the
following change in pre-requisite for GERO 410-3 (Special Topics in Gerontology):
FROM: GERO 300
TO: ?
60 semester hours credit. GERO 300 recommended.
Rationale: It is considered desirable that the prerequisites for GERO 410
be the same as for GERO 401. Both courses are optional courses within the
Program; it is considered desirable that studeqts taking GERO 410 should have
completed at least 60 semester hours credit; com1etion of GERO 300,
although desirable, is not strictly necessary as preparation for GERO 410.
