Favere-Marchesi, Michael
Ph.D., CPA. Chair, International Activities Committee
Faculty of Business Administration
I would like to be reappointed to the International Student Exchange Committee ISEC).
As Chair of the International Activities Committee (IAC) of the Faculty of Business
Administration, I have an in depth knowledge of the preferred exchange partner network
established by our Faculty as well as to the specific needs of business students in
particular and SFU students in general. Our Faculty accounts for close to 40% of all
student exchanges at SFU and I have been involved as the IAC Chair for the past 6 years.
I am directly involved in the coordination of all international activities as well as in the
introduction of new exchange agreements, the formulation of business-specific field
schools, and other programs. Having lived and taught in Asia, Europe and north America
gives me a unique perspective on internationalization of an academic institution, which
serves me well as a member of ISEC. My focus has always been on the quality, not the
quantity, of exchange experiences offered to our students.

well as treatment planning to optimize health care.

participating in committee work, specifically in the work of the International Student
Exchange Committee.
