Changes to the program extend the range of environmental concerns and applications
through additional
Designs for Learning courses focusing on curriculum, teaching and
learning. These courses are rounded out
by
other Education courses, as well as a selection
of courses taken
from other faculties. In 2007, the
Be
Ministry of Education published a
new Environmental Education framework which positions environmental education as a K-
12 and interdisdpUnary endeavour. Over the past several years students in our programs
have demonstrated that environmental themes can be infused into a number of varied
learning domains and
so this variety Is reflected in the expanded selections for student
elective
courses.
