Acting under delegated authority, at the March 16, 2001 meeting SPCSAB approved the

following motion:

That the terms of reference for all Shrum Entrance Scholarships be revised as

follows in order to comply with Canadian Interuniversity Athletic Union

regulations regarding entrance scholarships:

Recognizes high academic standing and a commitment to school and community service,

leadership, volunteer activity or through significant personal achievement in one or more

areas of activity. Distributed over eight semesters.

Changed from current wording in SFU Calendar:

Recognizes high academic standing and a commitment to school and community service,

leadership, volunteer activity, the arts, or athletics. Distributed over eight semesters.
